In November of 2019, Assemblyman John Catalano was elected to the New Jersey General Assembly to represent the 10th Legislative District. Assemblyman Catalano was born and raised in New Jersey and attended Bloomfield High School. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Assemblyman Catalano has deep ties in the Brick Township community, including owning several local businesses such as Country Store Jewelers which opened in 1985 and JBJ Elisabeth, LLC which was founded in 2004.
Assemblyman Catalano previously served as Councilman in Brick Township in 2014 and was the President of the Brick Township Republican Club from 2013-2019. He has proudly dedicated his time to the community serving on the Brick Township Planning Board, the Brick Township Small Business Committee and the Brick Township Historic Preservation Committee. He was also the Commissioner of the Brick Township Housing Authority and Vice Chair for the Brick MUA.
Assemblyman Catalano resides in Brick with his wife Beth Ann and daughter Jenna.
